Because we provide a single version of our web sites to all users and have a single Privacy Policy, we make equal disclosures to all. What We Do?

How does The Independent Adviser Corporation and affiliated Web sites protect my personal information?  To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We use encryption in the transmittal of your sensitive personal information between your systems and ours and we use firewalls.

How who we collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • sign up for our newsletters
  • communicate with us on our websites

Joint marketing - A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include our Fee-Only professionals in our 1800Adviser.com network.

Nevada: If you are consumer with a Nevada mailing address, we are providing you this notice under state law. If you prefer not to receive marketing calls from us, you may be placed on our internal Do Not Call List by completing this Privacy Related Concern Form. Vermont: If you are consumer with a Vermont mailing address, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of our company our with our affiliated web sites, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent, to service your accounts or connect you to Fee-Only professionals in our 1800Adviser.com network. We may share information about our transactions or experiences with you within our corporate family without your consent.

CA: If you are a consumer with a California mailing address, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of our company or affiliated web site sites, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent or to service your accounts.

Do Not Call Policy. This notice is The Independent Adviser Corporation's Do Not Call Policy under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. We do not solicit via telephone numbers listed on the state or federal Do Not Call lists, unless the law allows. Our employees receive training on how to document and process telephone marketing choices. Consumers who ask not to receive telephone solicitations from us will be placed on The Independent Adviser Corporation Do Not Call list and will not be called in future campaigns.

Call Monitoring and Recording. If you communicate with us by telephone, we may monitor or record the call.
